The Project
Comprehensive restoration of streets, squares and alleyways in the historic city centre
Our Role
Through extensive consultation with the community and key stakeholders, such as English Heritage, we developed a concept for the streets and squares, which includes the simple arrangements of the highest quality granite and sandstone finishes, adjustment to positions of listed structures, new artworks and lighting. All to allow the spaces to function more effectively for markets and events, to a standard of quality befitting a World Heritage City. Completed July 2011
