Town Centre Regeneration

Our Role

Harlow is famous as a 1940’s New Town designed by Sir Frederick Gibberd.  However, over the years there have been shifts in focus of activity and the fabric of the town centre has become tired.  As Public Realm Master Planners we are working to provide new fresh qualities to the retail areas, and a vibrant market square.  In keeping with Gibberd’s aspiration, our scheme seeks to bring the spirit of the surrounding landscape into the centre through a series of town gardens, ideal settings for Harlow’s extensive sculpture collection.
